What does a Clinical Pathologist do?

Veterinary clinical pathology is vital for diagnosing and monitoring animal diseases. This specialized branch of veterinary medicine analyzes and interprets laboratory tests like blood work, urine analysis, cytology, and histopathology. Clinical pathologists diligently identify changes in cells, tissues, and body fluids, aiding in the detection and management of diverse diseases.

What is Diagnostic Imaging?

Veterinary diagnostic imaging is a powerful tool used to visualize and evaluate the internal structures of animals for diagnostic purposes. This field employs various imaging modalities, such as radiography (X-rays), ultrasound, computed tomography (CT scans), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear medicine techniques. Veterinary diagnostic imaging allows veterinarians to examine bones, organs, tissues, and other anatomical structures in a non-invasive manner, aiding in the identification and assessment of diseases, injuries, and abnormalities.
