Bellevue Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (Hospital), located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest just a few miles from downtown Seattle, was founded to provide world class compassionate veterinary care to our patients and their caregivers.  This care extends throughout the support team to provide an exciting, fun, diverse, and inclusive work environment.  We love pets and we love people! Bellevue Emergency Veterinary & Specialty is looking to welcome an experienced and/or internship-trained Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian (1.0 FTE) or Part-Time Emergency Veterinarian to our growing team of dedicated veterinary professionals.

When you join our team, you will be working closely with our Medical Director and founder, Dr. Christopher Lewis.  Dr. Lewis is a seasoned emergency doctor and has worked extensively in both emergency practice and general practice settings.  You will also work closely with our Department Head of Critical Care and Emergency, who is our board-certified Criticalist, Dr. Megan Davis. Dr. Davis has extensive experience in both private practice and academic settings. We also have a team of collegial specialty departments including surgery, oncology, internal medicine, and clinical pathology.

Our Hospital:

Bellevue Veterinary Emergency & Specialty is located in a brand new 16,000 SF facility. Specifically designed for veterinary care and use, this brand-new emergency and specialty hospital strives to provide high-quality emergency medical care to pets and their people. We offer a well-equipped in-house diagnostic laboratory with outside diagnostic IDEXX reference lab support, cutting-edge surgical facilities, digital radiography, advanced CT imaging, ultrasound, and endoscopy services with our emergency and critical care services. Our team is highly trained with extensive experience treating a wide range of animal emergencies and illnesses.

Our commitment to pets extends beyond our hospital walls.  Our Team Members can give back to communities around the globe through our partnership with World Vets.  Each year, we send a group of doctors and support staff abroad to help pets in need and support programs that nurture healthy relationships between people and animals.
